The CUBITO project is dedicated to establishing a strategic program of events tailored to diverse stakeholder groups, including participatory sessions for citizens, hands-on laboratories for students, and specialized workshops for institutions and enterprises. These initiatives focus on the academic disciplines offered by the University of Turin at the Città Studi Biella campus, ranging from managerial and economic sciences to cultural heritage, tourism, and legal-social studies. The primary objective is to forge a cohesive ecosystem between the local community and the University by showcasing specific facets of teaching and research excellence.
The program is structured around four strategic pillars, with events held in-person across Biella and Cuneo:
Production Chains
Entrepreneurship
Social & Environmental Sustainability
Culture & History.
The sessions hosted at the "Mater Amabilis" campus in Cuneo (Via Alessandro Ferraris di Celle 2) are designed through the lens of systemic reciprocity. These events serve to integrate complementary project concepts and empirically validate the scalability and reproducibility of the models established in Biella.
Participants can earn an Open Badge - a European-recognized digital certification attesting to the knowledge and competencies acquired.
MOOC Integration: To ensure broader accessibility, all events will be recorded and integrated into a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). This free, asynchronous learning resource allows a global audience to benefit from the project’s educational content.
CUBITO is a Public Engagement and innovative teaching initiative promoted by the "Valter Cantino" Department of Management, under the patronage of the Teaching and Learning Center of the University of Turin.
